"what are they laughing at? what are they talking about? being famous?" (30) Sean is a very curios kid and has many request.
"Sometimes I feel like i'm the only one not laughing. I hate that feeling. First I think I didn't get it. But I actually did get it. " (14) Sean wonders about off topic things throughout the story. He'll be thinking about one thing then follow up about a bunch of other things.
"I didn't have homework. I had work." (32) I have a hypothesis that Sean is taking his idea very serious and is working hard on it because he's going through a lot for it.
"It makes me want a donut, but i'm too tired to get one."(45) This quote shows character in Sean very early in the book. A funny, Lazy, inpatient kid.
After being offered to join 3 school teams by the coach:" the classroom went silent and finally Ethan said something.'No'."(63) This shows personality right when the character comes in to play. Jeff baron gives each character a unique personality.
"No snack. No anything. This is serious."(69) Jeff Baron shows character in Sean with this quote. He shows if Sean is serious
on something he will dedicate his free time to work on it. This also shows how serious Sean is taking something that might not even happen.
"Oh.My.God. I actually said this out loud. When your alone a lot you never know for sure if your thinking of something or actually saying it."(201) The author is eloquent, for he puts really fluent voice in the story. He emphasizes what Sean is feeling.

Sean wont stop with the idea.
"I never expected to start a career with a movie but actually loved working on it: (273) Sean is ravenous to get his idea working again.
"I never expected to start a career with a movie but actually loved working on it: (273) Sean is regreting that his idea isnt working and will do anything to get it back up. Sean is ravenous to get it back up and running, because he loves his idea and can't find a way to get it back
Passion is the strongest motivation. If you have a passion to share an idea, Even if its not something easy to do, wanting to share the idea is a motivation to get it out there. Because you want this to happen, You are going to want it done, Hard or not. Jeff Baron shows this theory throughout the book. Many examples are in a scene where Sean Rosen (The main character) has an idea he is trying to get turned into a movie. Sean wants his idea to become a movie, so he goes to far limits to finish what he started. Jeff Baron puts an adult situation in a kids perspective, which makes the story exciting and thrilling.
In the book, Sean tries making his idea huge and famous. This is what wants him to go through the hard work for. “I'm scared to open it. I almost prayed”(125). Sean is about to open a letter from a movie company that wants to buy his movie. This quote is showing Sean really cares about his movie idea. This is his “passion” to have a (strong) motivation. This is found throughout the story as Sean tries to get famous for his idea. This is Jeff Baron and his way of showing passion From, Passion is the strongest motivation.
There is also lots of quotes that show Sean cares about his idea, Which helps the idea that since he cares, he will go through work. "No snack. No anything. This is serious."(69). This is a quote from when Sean starts working on getting an agent and a manager. He cares about his idea and takes it serious unlike what most kids would do, goof around during it. Unlike most kids Sean is going through an Adult situation. He doesn't care that's its to much for his age and, he keeps trying to get his dream to become true. This is how Jeff Baron shows the motivation in, Passion is the strongest motivation
There are some quotes that show both, His Passion and motivation, throughout the book. Sometimes Sean narrates about what life will be after his idea becomes big and talks about how hard he's working and how hard he is trying to get his idea out to the movie company. When Sean is close to losing the company he wants to work with he narrates in his head “I love working on this movie. Honestly. I would do anything for it to become true and not fail like most movies” (296). In this quote Sen emphasizes that he cares and will try to have the movie going no matter what it takes. He is showing both “passion” and “motivation”. Sean almost never shows both passion and motivation in the same time but usually shows them at separate times. Even though this is rare in the book, Jeff Baron shows it at significant times. He might put the quote in at hard times for Sean. This is the way that Jeff Baron puts in both, Passion and motivation in the story. These quotes prove that passion is the strongest motivation.
