"You were calling me? Of course I was calling you. Said Mr.Rafiel. Who did you think I was calling a cat?" pg 117. This quote helps add more realism to the book because I feel like people really do talk like that in real life.
"This island girl gets knifed. Found in the bushes. Might be ordinary enough." pg 119
this quote adds creepiness especially if you are reading it at night like I always do.
This book is kinda scary/problem solving/mystery, I find myself seeing really cool words that the author uses to make the reading a bit more mature but it also improves your knowledge on words like "inadequate" pg 126. This word makes the reading more mature and for older readers.
In page 127 Rafiel and Ms.Marple were looking at all their clues to find a murderer and it was very well organized by the author. "He thinks its easy, he thinks he's clever and so he repeats it." pg 127
"Scatty after all! He said disgustedly" pg 131. I decided to write this quote because I realized that it helps me visualize how the characters are reacting. The word disgustedly for some reason was strong for me and put an image of Mr.Rafiels face being disgusted
This book has a ton of characters with a bunch of weird names. Most Books have 4-6 characters this book has like 8-10. Its hard to keep up with all of them but it makes it more realistic because there's not only 4 people in someone's life most times.
" He talked about poison being a women's weapon" pg 142. This leads me to think the murderer will do something with poison because there's no other reason why the author would put this on the book.
" The beach was rather empty this morning" pg 145. This always gives you the feeling something bad is going to happen, especially in a mystery book.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
